Spin Spin Spin! for iOS a simple replay game with decent mechanics. This one is actually playable, but won't hold your interest for very long.
Spin Spin Spin! presents in portrait mode to reveal a high impact gaming environment, featuring a colored circle and 4 colored spikes on each edge of the screen; all resting atop a black background. The circle is smack dab in the center of the screen and has a number enclosed within its circumference. To cap it all off, there's an itty bitty ball orbiting around that circle, and all you gotta do is make as many revolutions as you can before going boom. What, you may ask, is trying to make you go boom? Well, you guessed it, those long colored spikes move in and out from the edges in random formation. All you gotta do is tap the screen to change your little ball's orbit and go the opposite direction. Just keep orbiting, dodging and changing directions to avoid being impaled and make as many revolutions as possible. Th-th-th-that's all folks!
The controls are easy and worked well. If you can tap a screen, you can play this game. The graphics and animation are sparse but effective in this minimalist environment, though perhaps could use a little something to add some dynamics and intrigue. The sounds are minimal but feature a techno soundtrack that's somewhat annoying.
Spin Spin Spin! is sure to entertain replay gaming fans. I actually thought it was mildly entertaining, but got bored with it, right quick.
