PhotoSync for iOS is my new favorite app. This one allows you to wirelessly transfer all the pictures in your Camera Roll to any computer, iPhone or iPad, with just a single click. Yes, this one actually works.

PhotoSync has been the app of my dreams for a long time now. I have searched high and low, but never found an app that actually delivered on the promise of wirelessly transferring all the pics in my Camera Roll to my computer with ease. However, I'm happy to say that this one delivers. To make the magic happen, you'll need to install a free companion app on your destination computer. The app works with PC and Mac and is easy to setup. Just follow the onscreen instructions, set your destination folder, then head on back over to your iPhone and open up this app. From there, the app will prompt you to select the images you'd like to transfer. You can choose individual photos, or transfer your entire Camera Roll in one swoop. After you've chosen your pics, the app will ask you to choose a destination. You can upload pics to Dropbox and an array of cloud and social media services, or to any computer on the same WiFi network as your iPhone. The app will automatically detect and discover all available destinations on your network. From there, just click the sync button and watch the magic happen. Alternatively, you can setup auto transfers to happen any time there are new pics to transfer. Just long press the sync button, and all your pics will transfer to your fave destination automatically.

The transfer process is surprisingly fast. I transfer literally hundreds of photos on a daily basis, and they all move form iPhone to PC in literally a minute or less. Very rarely, I will get a timeout message, and all I need do is hit the sync button again, and the transfers resume where they left off. There are never any duplicates or re-transfers of pics that have already reached the destination computer. All functions surprisingly well, and glitch free.

Setup is very easy and only took a couple minutes to get both the app and my PC companion app functioning. If you're feeling adventurous, you can manually enter IP addresses and set all sorts of custom stuff. But you can also just go with the basic default configs for a fast, no-fuss setup.

PhotoSync is a true must-have app for anyone who takes a lot of pictures, or simply enjoys the convenience of wireless photo transfers. This one is a dream to use and I would be lost without it.
