Don't Get Wet for iOS is a simple-action replay game with some decent entertainment value. But is a little shy on longevity of play or interest. Just avoid the dripping water droplets, and go as long as you can without getting wet. Kids might love this.

Don't Get Wet is a solidly mediocre replay game, and as far as replay games go, that's actually saying a lot. The app presents in portrait mode, and the play itself is very simple: there are two little animal critters, one each on the left and right sides of the screen. The critters are standing at the base of a waterfall, each holding a large leaf above their head like an umbrella. Water droplets appear and drop from the top of the screen. Your mission, is to dodge left and right to avoid being splattered. Dodge as many droplets as possible to best your last score and see how long you can last. The tricky part, is operating the two critters in tandem as the drops come down faster and faster.

The controls employ left and right screen taps to toggle each respective critter. Tap once to go left, tap again to go right, with each half of the screen utilizing its own controls. The graphics and animation are highly crude and unrefined, perhaps going for retro in look and feel, but succeeding only in looking a tad shoddy at best. The sounds are ok, but highly repetitive and headache inducing.

Don't Get Wet is a decent replay game, but won't entertain for very long. At the end of the day, it's just not that interesting.
